*Membean (our vocabulary program) will be on-going. Minutes are due every Monday and quizzes/tests will be taken every three weeks on Tuesdays or Thursdays. User ID is student's first name_last name_memorial and password is student's student ID.

**Reading is on-going! Whether you are logging pages for your outside reading log or finishing up chapters for required reading, you should be in a book EVERY night :)

Students,

I will miss you, but I am confident in your ability to continue to succeed through to the end of the year.  I have absolutely enjoyed my time with you, and I can't wait for you to come visit me next year when you're big, bad 8th graders!  Don't forget all of my HANDY tips, and PLEASE use your resources!  Put forth your best effort and always try your very best.  I have attached a lot of information on my blog that you may need going forward; please use it!!!

***YOU NEED YOUR GRAMMAR WORKBOOK!***
  1. Grab your Jabberspoofs from the hall.  You may take them home or leave them for me to keep FOREVER!
  2. Vignette                                       
  3. Semicolons practice pg. 160 in Grammar Workbook.  Turn in to tray when finished.  Don't forget to use your notes- NOT A PARTNER!
  4. IRT for 15 minutes.  Work on IRT Journal. 
  5. Writing Practice: Check over Expository Practice Outline from yesterday.  Do you have a thesis?  Do you have topic sentences?  Do they connect?  Begin your rough draft.  Remember to expand thoughtfully on your ideas and use specific evidence.
  6. AOW: Importance of Punctuation-- Read the article with your group.  Create and design a poster with important information pertaining to your article- it should be BIG, BOLD, AND BEAUTIFUL.  You will present this to the class, so pick a speaker!
